Colin and Cameron on Easter Sunday

This is one of my favorite shots from Easter Sunday (the rest of the album is at Smugmug). Colin and Cameron are delighted because it's their second Easter egg hunt of the year, they got to leave the Sunday service early, it's the start of Spring Break -- and I've got the week off as well, thanks to HP "recommending" that we all take this week off. What's not to like? :-)
In Googling for a solution, I happened across Pixelpipe, which is a much more general purpose publishing service. I'm giving it a whirl. You'll see this picture here and in Twitter and in Facebook all at once, something I did just by exporting the picture from iPhoto once. Still have work to do on making the posts more friendly (by default it labels your post with the filename), but seems very useful.

Time to go to church
Cameron is such the fun age now. He's also the family's class clown -- always laughing and with a mischievous gleam in his eye. We're not ready for all the children to grow up as fast as they are! For some reason, I liked this shot of the tiny guy as he and mommy head up the hill to church.

Posing like thier personalities
Their poses reflect their personalities in this picture, I think:
- Colin: earnest & eager to please
- Katye: slightly crazed
- Cameron: not sure what's happening but along for the ride so he doesn't get left out

Defender of the, uh, playground slide
There is tiny playground near my mom's house that we haven't been to in ages. (Usually the kids are too tired or it's too late as we're leaving my parents' house.) But timing worked out last weekend, and God blessed us with a beautiful warm, sunny afternoon.
Here, Cameron is posing as the All Powerful Guardian of the Playground Slide. Or something like that.

Legoland
Legoland wasn't quite as crowded (we went on a Wednesday), but they are still plagued by the slow-moving-line syndrome. Something about their rides and the way they pack people into them mean than even short-looking lines can go for 30-40 minutes.
On the plus side, this was the first year Cameron could actually ride some of the attractions, including the drive-your-own-cars which he treated more like bumper cars than a simulation of a city street. :-)
