City of San Mateo Sealpoint Park

The City of San Mateo has built a magnificent park on 3rd Avenue just north of Foster City. It's called Sealpoint Park, and we visited for the first time yesterday. The park has a beautiful suspension bridge, two soaring picnic shelters, water fountains that kids run through, and more! It's an amazing public park -- and a convincing demonstration that public parks don't have to be cookie cutter, unimaginative lawns dotted with the same-old-swings-and-grills. Posted by Picasa
